Finding Stoplight Circuit for Brake Controller Install 1993 GMC 1500
Question:
Installing a brake control and I need help finding the cold side of my brake pedal switch. My truck : 1993 GMC 1500 4x4 I look at the switch and it has 2 harnesses connected. Can you tell me which wire needs connected to the red wire on my control? Thanks, Tim

We can help but we don't know for certain which wire it is. You would need to use a circuit tester like the part # PTW2992 to test all of the wires leading to the brake switch till you find the correct one that only has 12 volts when brakes are applied.
