Difference Between Curt TriFlex and Curt TriFlex NEXT Brake Controllers
Question:
What are the main differences between this Curt Triflex Next brake controller C24VV and the Curt Triflex brake controller C51140? Is it just the display/screen or is the underlying technology different or improved?

Great question Max!
Yes, the Curt TriFlex NEXT Trailer Brake Controller # C24VV is just an upgraded version of the Curt TriFlex C51140 with the upgrades being a refreshed computer system and the ability to be mounting in any orientation instead of being limited to a 90-degree vertical and 40-degree horizontal like what we see with the older model.
Because of this I highly recommend going with the NEXT version over the original version.
