Should Trailer Tires be Inflated to Max PSI Figure
Question:
I HAVE 8 X 14.5 G ON FARM TRAILER. SHOULD I TOW LOADS AT FULL PSI OF 115? IVE HEARD SHOULD LOWER PRESSURE DOWN, ESP WITH HEAVY LOADS. THAT DIDNT SOUND RIGHT TO ME, I THOT LOWER PRESSURE THAN STATED WOULD LOWER THE CAPACITY OF TIRE

With trailer tires you want to inflate them to the max psi figure when cold to ensure you get the full weight capacity and you don't create excessive heat build up due to sidewall flex.
