Will Curt Echo Brake Controller Bypass Factory Controller on Ford Expedition
Question:
I have a 2016 Ford expedition and the in dash brake controller has failed. It locks up the brakes on the trailer when applied and wont release. Would the curt c51180 work to by pass my indash unit since that part is unavailable and there is no time frame to when it may be available again.

That's a good question Daniel, and the answer is yes it will. The factory brake controller on your 2016 Ford Expedition will be bypassed when you use the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180.
You'll just download the app for the Echo, set it up, plug it into your 7-way and you'll be good to go.
