How Much Clearance Is Needed Between The Compartment Door And MORryde Sliding Cargo Tray
Question:
How much room do you need to leave for clearance to shut the door? Is there a latch or something that extends beyond the front edge? Thanks for your help, Norm MORryde RV Cargo Sliding Tray - 48inch x 33inch - 1 Way Slide - 60 Percent Extension - 800 lbs Item # MR29FR

Hi Norm,
The components at the front end of the MORryde RV Cargo Sliding Tray # MR89FR are all very close to being inline with each other. The lip on the tray sticks out the furthest and even then it's a negligible amount. MORryde doesn't list a clearance requirement but I'd give yourself at minimum 1/4" - 1/2" from the opening to avoid any issues. Most RV compartment doors sit flush with the wall because of the flange that prevents the door from swinging in so as long as you're behind it you're fine.
