Do Rooftop AC Units Require AC Only Power or Can An Inverter Be Used
Question:
I am trying to determine if the roof-mounted AC unit can be poered by the 2023 Polaris SP570 Crew edition side-by-side, or is it ONLY powered by a 120-volt AC connection? Could a DC to AC inverter work off the 12-volt battery?

AC units like the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner Unit for Furrion Setup # FR26PR was only designed to work off of 115VAC, unfortunately but the thermostat does need 12VDC,so you could use your 12V battery for that.
