Will upgrading to A Load Range G Tire Make My Ride Harsher?
Question:
I already got an answer from Jesse that a G rated tire will hold more weight and, The short answer is yes, a higher rated tire like an F or G is going to be more durable or bulletproof than an E rated tire. I have a followup question. If I run the G rated tire at 110 PSI compared to an E rated tire at 80 PSI will that beat up my 5th wheel because of the harsher ride? 80 PSI which I currently have is already pretty harsh.

That is definitely something worth considering. The G rated tires will have a thicker sidewall than the E range So they can cause the ride to be a bit more stiff. Sometimes there are other factors that are contributing to the ride quality but stiffness of the tires sidewall can certainly be one of them.
Do you know how much your 5th wheel weighs fully loaded? Knowing that may help narrow down the best load range of tire to go with. Maybe upgrading to something like an F range would be a nice middle ground where you can upgrade the tires but not make the ride too much harsher.
