Recommended Suspension Enhancement For A 2006 Toyota Tacoma 4x4
Question:
Hi. I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma crew cab 4x4. I have a camper shell and when I put a load in the bed there is sag and a rougher ride to the suspension. What suspension upgrade would you recommend. thanks

Hi Paul,
For your 2006 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 I recommend going with a SumoSpring Solo Custom Helper Spring. To pick the right capacity helper spring I recommend going with the closest option to your Tacoma's payload capacity, which I see can range from 910 to 1,685lbs.
1,000lb # SSR-610-40
1,500lb # SSR-610-47
2,800lb # SSR-610-54
If you're regularly pushing the payload capacity I would go with the # SSR-610-54. These helper springs will replace your factory bump stop for an easy drill-free installation that you can complete at home. They're designed with a soft to stiff progression so that you won't negatively affect your unloaded ride quality. I've attached a couple of videos below to help walk you through the installation process.
