Where Does The 4th Wire on a 4-Wire Logic Module Connect To a Ground?
Question:
I have a 4-wire logic module. Trying to wire to my 2016 chevy silv tail lights. Not working. Should be straight forward on module. Not sure about ground? Should be together or seperate to chassis. Or just to topper light? Or should positive from topper light also be grounded?

Expert Reply:
A ground connection is a ground connection as long as it grounds to the negative terminal on your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado it should not matter where it connects. I would still reach out to the manufacturer for your specific logic module as ours # PP20-702 does not require a ground wire. The ground wire for your topper light will still need to ground to the chassis so they all end up with the same connection to the light or the chassis.
