7-Way Vehicle Circuit Tester Compatible With The Ford OEM Trailer Brake Controller On a 2014 Ford
Question:
It says it works with Ford OEM controllers through 2013. Is there one that will work for a 2014 Ford?

The problem with cheap testers like the Tekonsha # 6562 and similar testers is they can be hit and miss when it comes to working with different brake controllers. You really need a tester like the Hopkins # HM50918 for properly testing a brake controller. This is because all brake controllers will put out a small amount of voltage to detect when it connects to a trailer. Since this voltage is not regulated they can be different and is the reason the cheaper testers are not always going to read correctly.
