Can The Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler # CG Be Adjusted To Reduce Bounce?
Question:
Convert-A-Ball CG Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler I thought would lessen the bounce when going over rough roads on my full LQ horse trailer, it doesnt seem to make a difference. would there be an adjustment for it.

Expert Reply:
The Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler # CG does only allow for up to 3/4" so while this will help with road shock it does not help as much with the trailer bounce. Depending on your LQ horse trailer you would be able help reduce the bouncing you are getting with some type of Jounce Springs # SS26MV on your trailer or your tow vehicle.
If you can send me some information about your tow vehicle and images of your trailer and the suspension I can help you determine what will be the best option. Also please be sure to include any modifications you may have already done to either.
