Could Trailer with 5 Lug Wheels be Adapted to Fit with 6 Lug Wheels
Question:
I have a 5 x 10 single axle trailer I use just for fire wood, trash, and lawnmower. It has 5 lug 15tires on it, tires need replacing, I was given very nice aluminum 6 lug tires and rims. Could I change out the spindles to 6 lugs?

You would have to change the hubs of the trailer to ones that have the correct bolt pattern for the new wheels. But based on the size of the trailer and the likely axle capacity it is not super likely there is a 6 lug bolt pattern hub that fits it. The axle would need to be a 3,500 lb axle that would have a 2-3/8 inch diameter so that a hub like the part # AKIHUB-655-35-K would fit and would also work with your wheel.
