2020 Lincoln Navigator Battery Died After Flat Towing For A Short Distance
Question:
I am using a Blue Ox 7 to 6 wire coiled electric cord between my motorhome and 2020 Lincoln Navigator with a new battery as of this past Monday. After a short distance of flat towing, the Navigator is dead, brakes set and car locked up. I have used this set up in the past for over 3,000 miles without issue. Any idea what might be the issue? Thank you for your assistance

Do you have a charge line installed on the new battery you put in your Navigator? If not, that will definitely explain why the battery died so quickly. You can use the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to run a charge line from the 6-pin to the battery. This way the vehicles battery will be charged by the motorhome. You will also want to make sure the charge line is wired to the center pin of the 6-pin plug since you are using the Blue Ox 7-Wire to 6-Wire Cord # BX88206.
