Which High Low Adapter Needed to Properly Level Tow Bar
Question:
Hello, my tow bar height sits at 15inch off the ground and the RV sits at 21diff of 6. Its my understanding the difference should not be more than 4inch for safety reasons. Would I be better off with a 4inch or 6inch receiver since they would be inside the recommended 4? The 6inch would make difference 0inch and the 4inch receiver would make it 2inch difference. Just wondered which might be best or offer overall better versatility.

Having the tow bar too far out of level can damage your towing components and your vehicle over time. Ideally, you would want the tow bar to be perfectly level but within 3 inches high or low is considered acceptable. A High-Low adapter that would provide a 6 inch drop like part # RM-048-6 would be the ideal solution to level your tow bar.
