Recommended 7-Way and 4-Way Connector that Can Be Used at the Same Time

Question:

I have a 2020 Ram 3500 Dually with the max tow package. I also have the Rock Tamer hitch mounted mud flaps and the light kit that is available as an option. I plugged it into the 4 way and it worked, but as you probably know, I cant use the 7 way and the 4 way at the same time. What are my options for using the 7 way for the trailer and also the 4 way for the mud flap lights? Thanks for any help you can provide. Sincerely

To use a 7-way and 4-way at the same time you can use the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow Twist-Mount 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector item # HM40920 you were looking at. It is a universal part that works with any vehicle that comes from the factory with a 7-way. It installs using what's called a USCAR connector that is common amongst all of the OEMs.

I have linked an installation video below that will show you how to get it installed. It is on a completely different year and model truck but like I said this is a universal harness so the process will be the same on your 2020 Ram 3500.
