Will Upgraded Equalizers Fit Maverick 3 Horse Trailer With Underslung Axles
Question:
I have a Maverick 3 horse trailer and I was considering purchasing # LC696740 to see if it can provide some comfort/calm to the horses while being transported. Since the Maverick trailers have the springs mounted from underneath the axles vs the typical above axle mounting, would the Road Armor still work?

The Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 works if the leaf springs are above or below the axle. What is really important is matching your current equalizer size. You want the measurements to be the same or as close as possible so it doesn't throw off the suspension.
The most important measurement is the distance between left and right bolt holes center to center which is 6" on the Road Armor. I would also get the height of side bolt hole to hanger bolt hole which is 3-1/4". If your measurements are significantly different please let me know and I can help you find the best replacement.
Since you're worried about a comfortable ride and keeping your horses calm, you may also want to consider adding some SumoSprings. If you have 3k to 5k axles you would need the # TSS-106-40 and for 5K to 8K # SS33HR. These combined with the upgraded equalizer will really smooth out the ride. The SumoSprings work independently to reduce sway and also absorb road shock. You would need one kit for each axle.
