Troubleshooting Only Running Lights Work On 2014 Nissan Armada 7-Way
Question:
Hi. I have a 2014 Nissan Armada equipped with factory installed 7 pin tow light connector. I noticed on a recent camping trip my camper lights arent working- just the running lights. I used a tester that you plug into the vehicles pug, and only 1 of 7 lights came on, making me think the problem is on the vehicle end of things. My question is, which of your products do you recommend I purchase to change the plug out? Thanks!

First we should sort out what you tested. If the only thing that came on was the 12V power then that is normal. Make sure you actually turned on your turn signals, brake lights, etc. or the test lights won't receiver power to light up. This can be seen in the video below for the # C66NR. Assuming that is what you did then yes, I would say the issue is on the vehicle side.
Since it is a factory connector it can be replaced with the # HM40975. However, before replacing it I would test the wiring right behind the connector and double check the ground connection. If you find that you don't have power for those functions here then it is not the connector and replacing it won't help. If that is the case then I would try checking the fuse box to see if any fuses are blown. The only other thing it could be would be a short in the wiring but that seems unlikely for multiple functions.
