Parts Needed For Installing a Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller on a 2024 Subaru Ascent

Greetings. I have recently upgrade to a new 2024 Subaru Ascent from a 2016 Outback. I had purchased and used a RedArc Tow-Pro Elite RED44FR in that vehicle and really liked it. What would it take to get this new Ascent set up with one?

To transfer your Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED44FR from your 2016 Subaru Outback to your new 2024 Subaru Ascent you will need the 7-Way Kit # ETBC7. This will connect to either the factory 4-way if you got the factory tow package or you will need the Curt 4-Way # C56040 if you do not have a factory tow package.

We also have our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e55ZR which will give you a 2" receiver. This fits behind the factory cutout in the rear bumper fascia.
