Can the Locking Mechanism on the Buyers Products Rotary Latch Be Adjusted In or Out
Question:
From a side view of this lock, locking at the rotary latch plate, I notice there appear to be two extra holes next to the mounting screws, one on top and one on bottom. Are these extra holes meant to provide two different mounting positions to the lock itself, one being more inwards towards the inside handle and one more outwards towards the outside handle? I am looking for a lock that allows me to adjust the rotary lock mechanism in and out as needed as i have no more give in my striker on the door frame itself.

Yes, the other screw hole on the Bauer Products Rotary Latch for Horse and Utility Trailers # BA85FR can be used to bring the latching mechanism in or out.
Also, this latch measures 7-3/8" long x 1-7/8" wide x 7-3/4" tall and will fit into cut outs that measure 6" tall x 4" wide.
