Trunk Mount Bike Carrier Recommendation For 2006 Saturn Vue And 2007 Honda Odyssey

Question:

Will the TH910XT fit on a 2006 Saturn Vue and a 2007 Honda Odyssey? Both vehicles are a hatch back.

The Thule Trunk Mount Bike Rack, part # TH910XT is a confirmed fit for your 2006 Saturn Vue. It will not unfortunately work for the 2007 Honda Odyssey. The straps that secure the Thule rack to the top of the vehicle could put too much stress on the spoiler attached to the rear hatch on the Honda. We do have a solution for you though.

I recommend the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top 2 Bike Carrier, part # HRF2. The straps are located on the arms of the carrier in a manner that they will not interfere with the spoiler on the Honda, and this carrier will work just fine on the Saturn as well. This carrier has a weight capacity of 35 lbs per bike. I have attached a product review video for this carrier.

If you plan on carrying women's bikes or bikes with alternative frames like children's bikes I recommend an adapter like part # HRBA-PRO. This adapter attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and while carrying the bikes more level when on the carrier, will also provide more ground clearance.
