Recommended Trailer Hitch For A 2022 Keystone Sprinter Limited Travel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2022 Keystone sprinter limited travel trailer. I need to add a hitch to the rear for bike racks not for towing I don't think my bumper is strong enough for a clamp on the bumper hitch, so I want a bolt to the frame hitch, so I don't have to worry about losing our bikes. What hitch do you recommend for my trailer? I have read horror stories about instillation, so hopefully you have one that is a reasonable install. Thank you!

Our best option for a bolt to the frame hitch for your 2022 Keystone Sprinter Limited Travel Trailer is going to the be the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch # 13703. This hitch will work on box frames, C-channel frames, or I-beam frames that are between 22" and 72" wide. So provided your trailers frame meets those criteria, it can be made to fit. It can be bolted on with the included hardware, or it can be welded on. We installed this hitch most recently on a similar 2016 Keystone travel trailer. I have linked our install video below if you want to take a closer look at the process.
The hitch itself is rated for 350 lbs of tongue weight, which should be more than enough to carry a few bikes. Just make sure you are using a bike rack that is rated for use on a travel trailer like the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR.
