How Long Should A MaxxAir Roof Vent Cover MA00-933066 Last And What Is The Warranty
Question:
RE: Item # MA00-933066 Denver CO, 300 plus days of sunlight. How many years until the sun has brittled the vent cover? Hail is common here and can be marble size and larger... Does the mfgr or etrailer warranty this sun exposure and becoming brittle?

The MaxxAir Standard Roof Vent Cover # MA00-933066 has a 6 year warranty. It is hard to give you an exact timeframe for how long it will take to become brittle, but we would hope for the cover to hold up at least through the 6 year warranty timeframe, even in the intense Colorado sunlight. Generally these vent covers will last at least that long, if not much longer. They are made of a UV resistant polyethylene, which will resist becoming brittle over time.
All of that being said, sun damage falls under normal wear-and-tear. Normal wear-and-tear, and hail damage would not be covered under the warranty.
