What Causes The Retract Time Out Error On The Lippert Ground Control Leveling System?

Question:

We keep getting this error. I do what you said to get rid of the code. But what is causing this error and how can i get it to stop. We have a 2020 jayco 24b. the touch pad is showing Retract Time out Return Levelers for service. all you need to do is hit, enter and retract at the same time. That will clear that code. I confirmed this with our contacts at Lippert.

If your Lippert Ground Control system keeps having the retract time out error code even after having the error cleared, this is most likely a wiring issue or a weak battery. First check the condition of your battery to make sure it has a good charge and if that is good move on to going over the wiring of the leg to see if there's anything obvious that needs to be fixed.
