Can Trailer with 9-1/2 foot Long Flat Bed Tow Ffith Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2024 gmc 3500 cab and chassis truck with a 9.5 cm aluminum flatbed I want to pull my jayco eagle 5th wheel with the Andy has a goosneck built in first I want to know if this hitch is my best option or should I go with a gen y I’m just not sure if the gen y voides the frame warranty on the jayco I know the Reese goosbox dose not but I can’t use that because I have a curt turning point pin box I don’t use the turning feature so that’s not a prob if I get this Demeo but my real question would be with having that 9.5 foot aluminum flatbed and using the existing goosneck ball will the bed hit the camper the back corners are tapered but just not sure of the distance it will def be close is there something that is offset to the back a little I can use

Due to how long your bed is there isn't a gooseneck solution we can guarantee would work without interference between the truck bed and the trailer. You might contact the manufacturer of the bed and see what info they could provide. I would think since they put the hitch in the bed it could work for some situations.

Most likely the Demco Recon part # DM8550046 would be your best option though as it was designed for flat bed trucks like yours that have recessed hitch balls.
