Best Bike Rack for Carrying Lectric 3.0 E-Bike on Motorhome with 2" Hitch Receiver
Question:
Looking into this bike rack for my Lectric 3.0. Without the battery it will be 57 pounds with 3inch fat tires. I have a 2inch hitch on my Motorhome so that should be fine. Only need a 2 bike rack but will only be using one e bike.

The Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack # C18085 definitely isn't a rack you need to be using for your setup, but I'm happy to help you find an alternative! The cradles are only able to handle 45 lb bikes, the rack isn't tested and approved for motorhome applications, and I personally avoid recommending Curt bike racks in general anyways because they are pretty poor in quality.
For your setup you need the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR which has the same basic design as the Curt you were looking at, but this rack can handle up to 80 lb bikes, has been tested and approved for motorhome use, and has a few extra features that make it a better rack like bike and rack locks for security.
I'm attaching a photo one of our customers sent in with their Lectric bikes loaded onto this rack for you to check out!
