Recommended Gooseneck Hitch for a 2022 Ram 1500 Classic

Question:

I need a gooseneck hitch for a 2022 Ram 1500. This is the older body style not the new one so I guess it's the Classic. Which one do you recommend? There's a lot of different options and your system is really complicated for what seems like a simple question.

I would be happy to help you clear up the confusion. To add a gooseneck hitch to your 2022 Ram 1500 Classic you will want the B&W Turnoverball System item # BWGNRK1309. This gooseneck hitch comes with custom fit brackets that installs using preexisting holes in your Ram's frame. It fits all three bed lengths with or without the factory air suspension.

To make towing with a gooseneck trailer easier, I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness item # C56070. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your gooseneck trailer easier and more convenient.
