Fit of DeeZee Invis-A-Rack on 2014 Toyota Tundra with OEM Bed Rail System

Question:

The rack listed above was recommended for the 2014 Toyota Tundra with the bed rail system however, further on in the specs, it indicates that it is for an 8 foot bed. I have the 6 foot bed and the pictures illustrating the uses for the Invis-A-Rack appear to show the standard 6 foot bed. Actually, in writing this the though occurs that Im not sure Toyota even makes an 8 foot bed model. Can you confirm that the Invis-A-Rack model will work with my 2014 Tundra that has the factory installed bed rail system. Also, whether the rail will still be accessible for use after the rack is installed Thanks

We do have a ladder carrying solution for your truck, although the Invis-A-rack wouldn't work.

According to DeeZee, the Invis-A-Rack is not compatible with the Toyota Tundra models equipped with the bed track system. The Invis-A-Rack mounts to the top of the bed rail, but the clamps that attach it to the vehicle need to pass through to the underside of the bed rail. The presence of the bed rail system prevents access to the underside of the bed rail, leaving the clamps no way to attach.

TracRac doesn't offer anything compatible with Tundra models equipped with the bed track system, but the Thule Transporter, part # TH500XT can be installed if the bed rail system is removed.

I have linked you to a product demonstration video featuring the Transporter ladder rack.
