Are Diodes Needed When Using the Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit # RM-155 on 2014 Buick Enclave

Question:

i am wiring my tow with kit # 155. my old tow 2004 trailblazer was wired with diodes into the taillights and it worked fine. now with the kit #155, do i need diodes? the old tow did not have a 3-2 converter, so im assuming that i dont need a converter, but do i need diodes ? thanks

Diodes are only for situations where you are using the towed vehicles factory tail lights and wires. When using the Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit, # RM-155, it provides dedicated tail lights and wires so diodes are not needed.

I have attached a picture which shows the recommended location for drilling and installing the bulb and socket.
