Recommended On Road and Off Road Tire Chains for LT275/70/R17 Tires

Hello, I am looking for a set of chains for my 2015 toyota 4runner sr5. My current tire size is LT275 70 R17 falken wildpeaks. I live in washington state and the primary use for these chains would be on-road packed snow and ice or in more rare circumstances, forest service roads with packed snow/ice. Do you happen to have any recommendations? Thanks in advance

Yes, I do! To add a set of tire chains to your LT275/70/R17 tires, I recommend the pewag Wide Base Tire Chains item # PWE3229S. These work on road or off road so you would be covered no matter where you are. They have square links which will give you great traction in the snow and also handle well on ice.

I recommend checking the owner's manual of your vehicle for any tire chain fit restrictions.

I have linked an installation video below to show you how to get these chains set up. If you aren't familiar with tire chains, I highly recommend throwing them on a couple of times before you actually need them.
