Passenger Tail Light Does Not Work After Installing Roadmaster Diode Kit - What Can I Do?

Question:

2020 Equinox Midnight edition. Purchased with ROADMASTER 154 Universal Wiring Kit, Black installed already. The passenger side lights dont work at all. I noticed there is humidity in the light. All lights work on passenger rear work when driving auto. Do you think its just diode replacement issue or should I purchase a new light and diodes? Thanks

It is highly uncommon the Diodes to go bad, but we should be able to easily test this to determine the cause of the issue. The best thing to do will be to get a wire probe like part # PTW2993 and test the wires going in to, and out of the diode. If we have power going in, but not coming out, then the Diode is the issue. If power is coming thru the Diode normally, but the passenger light does not come on, then the light will need to be replaced. It is certainly possible that condensation inside the light is causing the problem. So checking the output on the diode itself will be your best bet.
