Dual Furrion AC System Needed For A 2006 Beaver Patriot Thunder Class A Motorhome

Question:

I have a 2006 Beaver Patriot Thunder 45’ with 3/ea r-22 dometic 15k roofair units. I have 2/ea dometic duotherm 5 button t-stats w/ modular comm jack 1 is dual zone w/ a remote sensor for 2nd zone I want to replace these with Furrion FACR15HESA-BL-AM rooftop units. I think that I need 2/ea FACC12SA-BL and 1/ea FACC12ZA-BL controllers. Ideally I would like Bluetooth capable t-stats. What options are there for “plumbing the condensate lines into my existing/ integrated lines ? I would also like to understand soft start options. Please let me know what pieces/ options are available for my situation. Thank you.

For a dual unit Furrion AC system you'd need two rooftop units, two multi-zone controllers, two air distribution boxes, and one wall thermostat. All of this is packaged together with part # FR47FJ. The wall thermostat unfortunately isn't Bluetooth compatible so you'd only be able to control the system with the single wall thermostat. Furrion units have multiple holes in the bottom pan to allow water to drain out so there wouldn't really be an easy way to connect to your existing drain lines unless you built some sort of pan under the unit to capture all the water that leaks out and then run a line off of it. Furrion units come with start capacitors already built into them to store energy and help "soft start" the unit each time so it doesn't draw an enormous load every time it kicks on.
