Troubleshooting etrailer 3,200 watt Inverter Generator Dying After High Altitude Jet Installation
Question:
I changed jet in my ETRAILER PORTABLE INVERTER GENERATOR WO2983 and now the engine dies when I push the button to turn off choke.

The High Altitude Jet for 3,200-Watt etrailer Generator # 333-330717002 is designed to be used on the 3,200-Watt Portable RV Inverter Generator 333-0003 (W02983) at an altitude of 3,000' to 6,000'. If you are lower than that it can cause the generator to run inconsistently.
If you are at the correct altitude then there are a few things to look into that have more or less to do with maintenance. I'm attached a clip from the instructions for troubleshooting the generator. If you've checked everything that describes your generator and are still having issues please let me know.
