How To Know If Your Tires Are The Right Size For The Wheel
Question:
I have a small custom trailer tire size 155R120 tires on an older 4 lug rim. It leaks air slowly . Judging by your similar readers question in tire leaking , I want to know how do I determine if tire is to large for wheel?

Ironman RB Metric 155R12C D/8PLY BSW tires are designed to fit a rim width of 4.5". If you know the exact model number of the wheels you could look up the width, otherwise the only way to know would be to remove the tire and measure. You'll measure from where the tire beads will seat on the wheel, which is from the inside of the inner wheel flange to the inside of the outer wheel flange, not from edge to edge of the wheel.
