Does the Rightline Gear SUV Tent # RL110906 Work On a 2012 Toyota Rav4 With Sideways Opening Door

the Rav4 Limited and most ravs of that year has the back door opening sideways. So i cant see how this would work? tx

It doesn't matter how your rear hatch opens actually, the portion of the Rightline Gear SUV Tent with Rainfly part # RL110907 that you referenced that attaches to the vehicle goes over the door and attaches to either the roof rack of the vehicle or the windshield wipers. So your door configuration doesn't matter. If you fast forward to the 9:30 mark of the video I attached you will see exactly how it attaches.

Once that is attached your door would be able to open sideways without interfering with anything and the tent would work very well for you.
