Spring Compression Measurement for the Timbren Silent Ride Suspension System
Question:
Hi, the Diagram shows an unloaded clearance of 6 7/16inch to the chassis with straight axles, whats this dimension fully loaded / max compression of the suspension please? Looking at tyre clearance to the body and if we need to modify chassis. Thanks!

I was able to get ahold of Timbren and they said that the suspension compression will be about 1 3/4 inches (static deflection at normal rated load), but you are going to have to take into account dynamic loads as well.
You will also have to be aware that the equalizer articulates quite a bit especially on uneven roads, and especially so with the longer version of the suspension # T34FR, you have to allow for good fender clearance above the suspension, It is recommended to have 3 3/4 to 4 inches of clearance as a minimum.
