Availability of Replacement Sockets for Peterson Marker Lights

Question:

Hi, I have a 1978 Bluebird Wanderlodge that has original Peterson 126 amber and red marker lights. The bulb sockets are rusted and half the lights dont work. It also appears that it is a single wire leading from the bus to the light socket, so Im not sure what to do with two wires that your diagram shows. Is there a way to simply replace the sockets? What about the wiring? Thanks

Unfortunately, we do not offer replacement sockets. As you have seen, we offer the entire lamp as replacements, the Peterson Red Flush Mount Clearance Light, part # 425000 and the Peterson Amber Flush Mount Clearance Light, part # 424800.

Regarding the two wires exiting the rear of the replacement, one provides the ground connection and the other powers the lamp. It is possible that the existing lamps are grounded differently, possibly through the two mounting studs.
