The Reese universal 5th wheel trailer hitch installation kit # RP30035 is listed as a fit for all models and bed lengths of the 2012 GMC Sierra. I have included a link to the installation instructions. If you have a 2500 or 3500 then you will need to look at page 5 (sheet 4 of 21). For a 1500 you would need the page after that.
