Supplemental braking systems are a legal requirement in many states and are there to help your Wrangler come to a safe stop in the event of a breakaway. Braking systems will also help reduce the strain on your motorhome since it won't have as much weight to manage when braking with the system helping to stop the vehicle. Towing during inclimate weather or downhill will require you to go a lot slower and brake sooner to ensure you can stop the motorhome and Wrangler in time. Preventing the extra wear and tear on the motorhome and peace of mind knowing your vehicle is going to stop is well worth the cost and installation hassle of a braking system.
If you want to have a removeable system that doesn't require much installation in the Wrangler then the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR would be a great option. This will require that you have a 12v outlet # RM-9332 installed to power the unit.
If you want a system that will permanently install and you won't have to perform any setup when you're ready to tow then you'll want the Demco # SM99251 if your motorhome has hydraulic brakes or the # SM99243 if it has air brakes. Both of these systems have an indicator light to let you know when the brakes are being applied and will tap into the brake light switch wire, which is unfortunately unusable on your Wrangler so you'd need to also install the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 in order to get this signal.
