How To Determine The Correct Size Replacement Vent Or Vent Lid For Your Trailer

I need to replace a roof vent and need to know where to measure so I get the right size

If you're replacing the entire vent then the cutout hole for the vent in the roof of the trailer just needs to be roughly 14" x 14" (some vents require 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" but the cutouts are usually a bit larger anyway). If you're wanting to just replace the lid then you can measure the vent to make sure it's 14" x 14" and then go with a universal-fit option like the MaxxAir # MA00-335001 or # MA00-335002. These come with a hinge that you'll bolt to the side of the vent. If you know the model number of the vent then we could also look for the compatible replacement lid that way.
