Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack for a 2014 Subaru Forester with Factory 1-1/4 Inch Trailer Hitch

I am a novice when it comes to picking a bake rack. I have a 2014 Subaru Forester and I am looking for hitch bike mount that is easy to use. Will the #64650 work.The XC2. I read some where that there maybe problems connecting the bike rack to the hitch. Something about a close fit with the pin

If your 2014 Subaru Forester has the factory installed 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch then you will have problems with nearly all bike racks designed to fit in a Class I trailer hitch. The issue is that the hitch pin hole is very close to the end of the receiver. This means that there will not be much of the bike rack shank in the receiver to support the rack.

But I do have a great option for you, the BikeWing, # LGA54FR. This carrier has 2 pin holes so you can have more of the shank inside the receiver. I have included a link to a video review for you.
