Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller in 1995 Ford F-250

Question:

Hello I need to install a trailer break controller into a 1995 F250 with a factory tow package. The question I have is your site lists break controllers for a factory flat-4 or 7 pin, the truck I am working on has a factory small round 6-pin trailer connector. I did find the grey 6-pin trailer connector under the dash. What controller will I need for this application

The 1995 Ford F-250 you are needing a brake controller for does have the brake controller install wiring since it has a 6-way that was most likely converted from a 7-way. So to install a controller like the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty # RED24FR all you'd need is the # RED87FR and you'd be set.
