Trailer Tire Replacement for Size 7.00-15
Question:
I have a horse trailer built in1982 that has 5 inch wide 15 inch rims. It currently has 7:00-15 tires. What size is correct in the current goofy metric tire sizes? I don’t have much room for a wider overall width tire.

The closest tire size to your 7.00-15LT is the 225/75-15 like the # AM10303 which fits your current rim size, is slightly shorter in diameter by one inch and is 8.9 inches wide. This would take up one more inch on both sides of your tire currently so you'd need to make sure you had room for that.
