Does The Gas Tank Need To Be Lowered To Install TorkLift Tie-Downs On A 2010 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
Hello, I am trying to install the Torklift TLT2303 on a 2010 Tacoma. I was able to successfully install the passenger side with no issues per the installation instructions. The instructions then say to repeat the process on the drivers side, however the gas tank is very close to the frame so I am unable to the bolt from the inside of the frame. Do you have any installation recommendations to get the bolt in place? Do I have to lower the gas tank?

If the gas tank is preventing you from installing the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLT2303 on the passenger side of your 2010 Toyota Tacoma then you would unfortunately have to lower the tank in order to get it installed and then raise the gas tank back up and mount it back in place.
