Hitch Cargo Carrier Recommendation for Transporting Snow Blower

Question:

What hitch carrier do you recommend for me to get my snow blower moved around? I usually use the snow blower for my house and then I drive across town to my parents house as well and I'm tired of putting the blower into the truck bed. Thanks.

I highly recommend the Flint Hill Goods 29" x 50" Cargo Carrier w Ramp # FHG67ZR for transporting your snow blower around town. This has the ramp for easy loading but it only weighs in at 53.95 lbs. Initially that sounds pretty heavy but when you compare it to the 75.5 lb weight of the steel alternative, part # FHG77ZR, you see it sheds about 20 lbs off the total weight.

The carrier I'm recommending is made of aluminum which is why it's lighter. The aluminum construction not only helps with the weight of the carrier, but it also helps with corrosion resistance. Aluminum can withstand the elements better than steel which will come in handy since you'll be driving around during winter when there is salt on the road.

I'm attaching a review video where we actually have a snow blower loaded up for you to check out. We also have a handful of customer reviews where they've used this carrier for the exact same thing so you'll be in good company using this carrier and ramp.
