Dimensions of the Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack when folded

Question:

How far out from the back of vehicle does this rack extend when foldup up and when carrying bicycles? Does the rack extend straight from the trailer hitch or cant upwards?

When the Swagman XTC4 Cross Country 2-Bike Rack, item # S64665, is folded for transport without bikes there is three inches of clearance between the center of the hitch pin hole and the closest part of the bike rack to the vehicle. The farthest back part of the bike rack, when folded, (farthest away from vehicle) will be 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole.

When carrying bikes the rack is angled upwards somewhat to provide enough ground clearance for the rack.
