Would Connecting 50 Amp Solar Panels Directly to Battery Bank Cause Issues with Battery
Question:
I have a 50 amp solar panel hooked directly to my RV 12 volt AGM battery. I have had 2 batteries develop bad cels in the las 2 years. Last time blowing two 15 amp fuses. Is this due to overcharging? Thanks

If there isn't any type of charge controller between the panels and your batteries I would highly suspect that's what is causing your problems. We have a solar controller that can handle up to 60 amps with the Go Power part # GP54FR which is compatible with your AGM batteries.
