Can I Use The Thule Hulavator On A Roof Rack With No Crossbar Overhang?

I am interested in installing the Thule Hulavator on my 2024 Subaru Outback Touring XT with factory crossbars with no overhang, I understand that Hulavator requires a overhanging crossbar.

You are correct in that the Thule Hullavator # TH898 Requires the crossbars to overhang between 4" - 8" past the feet. So you will not be able to use this with the Factory Crossbars on your 2024 Subaru Outback Touring XT, since there is no overhang. You will need to either purchase an aftermarket roof rack like a Thule or Yakima for example. Or you would have to use a standard Kayak carrier without a lift assist, like the Rhino Rack J-Style Carrier # S512.
