Curt Rail and Bracket Kit Recommendation for 2013 Ram 3500 Compatible with a Husky 5th Wheel Hitch

Question:

I have Husky Silver 26,000 5th whl hitch on a 08 Ram dually . It was purchased and Installed at RV dealer , so I dont know the make of rails and kit . I need to know if I can remove kit from 08 and drill and install on 13 same make, model I havent been able to find a picture so far that looks like what I have ,cant really find any recommended kits to choose from. Really dont want to start over if I dont have to .

In 2013 they changed the Ram frames considerably so a new new bracket kit and rail hardware will be needed to install your rails and Husky Silver Series 5th Wheel Hitch part # HT31318-31325 in your 2013 Ram.

Since we cannot recommend mixing bracket kit and rail manufacturers your best option would be to buy a new rail install kit. For that I would recommend the Curt Fifth Wheel Installation kit part # C16430-204. This comes with everything you would need to install new rails in your truck and is compatible with your # HT31318-31325.

If you could determine what the rails are in your truck I could see if we carry a compatible bracket kit, but we do not recommend mixing bracket and rail manufacturers like I said earlier. Feel free to email me back with that information if you can find it.
