Expert Reply:

Special trailer tires should be inflated to their maximum air pressure. At the maximum air pressure, the tires will perform and wear best, and get the best gas mileage. The Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire # AM3H430 has a maximum load carrying capacity of 1,320 pounds at maximum inflation of 70 psi.

If the tire is over-inflated, it will wear more in the center of the tread, all the way around the tire.

Even in warm weather the psi will not increase that much. Always make sure the tires are checked and aired up prior to towing and always inflate the tires cold.
