Will 12 Volt Batteries Charge at Same Rate Using Battery Charger
Question:
If I install two 12 volt batteries do they discharge and charge at the same rate?

Expert Reply:
Two 12 volt batteries wired in parallel will not necessarily charge at the same rate when using a battery charger such as the OptiMate 7 Select Smart Battery Charger - AC to DC - 12V - 10 Amp # MA57JR.
It depends on the amp hours of the batteries, and if you have different amp hours, the larger one will charge/discharge slower. But if they are the exact same battery, and both are charged equally, then it will be pretty close to the same rate.
I have added a link below to our entire selection of battery chargers for you if the # MA57JR is not the right choice for your batteries.
